Play Therapy
Play Therapy is an evidence-based treatment method which uses the developmental language of childhood, play, to support children in expressing themselves and to work through emotional and behavioral challenges. Play therapy is appropriate for children as young as age 3 to tweens and is done in the therapeutic play room on site.

Individual Therapy for Teens and Tweens
Individual talk therapy with your teen or tween can help them work through a variety of problems and concerns that they may be facing with their mental health. We employ a variety of strategies to support this age group such as integrating games and activities, psychological education, and researched treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT. Most importantly, we work to create an environment of listening and trust, where their privacy and independence can be respected.

Family Therapy
Family therapy focuses on the relationships between family members to support the goals of better understanding one another, resolving conflicts more effectively, and working through challenges. Family therapy is often integrated into the individual counseling process or can be done exclusively. Because children are more likely to accomplish therapy goals if parents or guardians are actively involved participants in the process, we often recommend family therapy sessions throughout treatment planning.

Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT)
CPRT is a unique evidence-based intervention in which parents learn skills to conduct their own special play sessions with children using the same types of skills that play therapists use. CPRT is designed to be completed in 10 sessions between the therapist and the caregiver. Caregivers who learn CPRT walk away with a unique set of skills to support emotional needs through a warm and therapeutic relationship with their child.

Parenting Support
Because being a parent can be stressful, overwhelming and often confusing, we offer sessions for parents to support them in helping their children meet their behavioral goals. We strive to create a warm, caring, and non-judgmental environment when adults need support for their child's challenging behaviors. In some cases, it may be determined that you as the parent needs to be a primary focus in session, such as in cases where your own therapeutic concerns are impacting your child. In these cases, we can integrate parent-only sessions into your child's treatment and/or make additional recommendations for care.
